I Masturbated Everyday for 18 Days and this is What Happened

…Today’s officially the last day of my masturbation detox that consisted of 30 days with no sexual stimulation.

The detox felt amazing and helped me in unimaginable ways, but it’s also left me with a hole (theoretical of course!).

A voided space that can’t seem to be satisfied no matter how many days I go without sexual stimulation.

So no matter how good the detox made me feel, it’s put me in limbo, I need to start masturbating, but I’m scared of what may happen…

Will I lose all the benefits I gained?

Who knows, but in the name of Essex Lad I’m going to find out.

…So let the next 18 days of furious mastubating begin in order to see what the effects of excessive fapping are and whether or not nofap is really necessary in order to become the superior version of yourself.

First let’s watch a video that documents my progress (and feelings) throughout this challenge and then let’s get more in-detail about what went on during this 18 days of masturbation.

“So Oli what were the rules of this challenge?”

I had to masturbate once or twice per day for 18 days without any days off.

I also had to eat a similar diet throughout and document my feelings each day.

Simple enough, right?

My Diet During This Challenge:

My Experience With 30 Days NoFap

My daily diet more or less consisted of:

5 – 10 fruit per day, including oranges, apples, bananas and berries.
5 – 10 vegetables per day including, onions, broccoli, peppers, garlic, etc.
3 liters of water per day.
No meat.
No dairy (almond as substitute)
Carbs: Gluten free pasta, rice and noodles.
Green, white and rooibos tea
A good multivitamin
I also do cardio and weights 4 – 5 times per week. Meditate 40 minutes per day and at the time of this article I practice yoga daily for around 20 minutes.

Now this is a diet built to maximize energy and brainpower and I kept this consistent throughout both challenges…

Because I wanted to be able to feel exactly what changed in my body. Food and exercise plays a big part in how energetic and good you feel.

Gee the first 3 days were by far the hardest.

I mean I’d just finished a nofap detox which made me build up a negative look on masturbating.

I was already worried I’d automatically lose all the benefits I gained from not jacking off the previous month.

And on the 2/3 day I almost chucked the towel in.

You see I was low energy, couldn’t concentrate on work and my sex drive just wasn’t responding to the constant masturbation.

Not only that but during the first week I saw a dip in my energy levels whilst lifting weights, and started to almost give up during weight lifting sessions (especially near day 7).

Now I’m not sure if this was partly psychological due to not masturbating previously and having built a bad outlook on fapping.

Or if I just shocked my system due to masturbating everyday after not masturbating for a whole month.

The second week I felt my energy levels drop even more, and I even started having little accidental naps (and that’s not happened to me for years).

By day 8/9 training really did feel difficult, I mean I love exercising and I felt much more resistance and even starting a gym session was hard.

I was keeping a consistent diet and even though my energy was lower than normal, I wouldn’t say it was causing any problems, apart from a little frustration at not being as explosive as normal.

Biggest Problem I Found With Daily Fapping…

Stopping masturbation allowed me control the saved sexual energy and I used it to socialize, train harder and do more outdoor activities.

But since I stopped I felt like that energy has now become unfocused and instead of being awesome, it now just distracts me and makes me want to think about sexual fantasies.

Did week two give any benefits?

My sex drive came back kicking and I actually feel like I want to masturbate and have sex a lot more.

But the older the week became the less control I had over my sexual urges. Problem maybe? But I found it quite amusing, I mean I’m just going with the flow of the 18 days ;).

You know I also started remembering how powerful touching myself can be as a release in order to relax and get rid of inner tension.

But I’m already like a dog when it comes to relaxing, so this isn’t necessarily a great thing for me.

At The End of All This What Happened

Before I knew it the 18 days were up and I had finished this challenge…

I can honestly say this wasn’t the experience I thought it would be.

And by the end I think the real challenge with masturbating everyday is energy loss.

Something that I just got used to before.

But now I’ve seen the other side it feels like I’m a meat eater, who went vegetarian for 30 days felt amazing, then went back and tried meat for 18 days as a challenge.

By the end of this challenge I feel a little more negative and have much less control over my sexual urges and focus.

But it wasn’t all bad, masturbation is like a secret relax button, something I didn’t have while NoFapping.

And let’s not forget how fun play with oneself is!

And you know one thing that amazed me? Even after 18 days of masturbating my sex drive was still getting higher and each day was more demanding.

Weird, because I felt that after day 10 I’d be getting bored, when in fact it was quite the opposite.

When I was in my teens I’d have happily said yes, but now in my twenties I feel like everyone’s on their own path and a big part of becoming the best version of yourself is experimenting and becoming the mad scientist of your own body.

So, for some it’s possible to masturbate everyday and be at the top of their game, and for others it’s impossible. You see it all depends on goals, age, lifestyle, diet and genetics.

And for the most part it’s impossible to see where you fall without trying some daily masturbating and then giving it up completely.

“Is Masturbation Bad for You?”

My absolute honest opinion is a big fat NO.

As long as it’s in moderation it’s not going to harm you and it can be healthy.

I personally feel like I work more effectively when I’m not masturbating.

But I’m on my own journey and right now that’s what works best for me and doesn’t mean it will work best for you…

That being said masturbation is fine, but porn that s**t does mess things up.

“Oli!?!?! Why is porn bad?”

Porn messes up life, it’s just not good for the brain and I’ve tried moderating it and even then there’s lots of negative effects.

I do need to remember everyone’s different but in my experience porn is what makes masturbation bad and you only have to cut it out your life to start seeing that.

“How many times do you masturbate now?”

I can have as much sex with a person as I want but I don’t masturbate anymore and haven’t for 30 – 40 days which is the time this article took to put together after I shot it.

Since I started this I’m in control of my sexual urges, have loads more energy and feel bloody fantastic, while also getting satisfaction from sexual release whenever I’m with a partner.

Who knows maybe I’ll stumble across another way in the future that’s even more kick-ass.

“But Oli, what if I have no girlfriend or opportunity to have sex?”

You can get a girlfriend you’re just not trying hard enough.

But remember this is just what works for me. Go and try NoFap and masturbating everyday, learn how your body works and see what ultimately works for your lifestyle.
