Embracing the rich heritage of a building that was constructed in 1910 as a single-family home, Gracie Inn has thrived amidst the changing tides of time. The original owners lost this gem during the depression, after which the state repurposed it into a boarding house. Post World War II, the building evolved into a cluster of nine railroad apartments.
In 1990, the structure underwent a significant renovation, adding an elevator to the new penthouses and a fire escape to the front facade. A decade later, in 2000, on its 90th anniversary, the building was transformed into Gracie Inn, an extended stay hotel that has been catering to the needs of discerning guests ever since.
